Georgia reports 1,064 new cases of coronavirus of 25,564 tests

Georgia has reported 1,064 new cases of coronavirus, 1,135 recoveries and 29 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

25,564 tests have been conducted around the country on the weekend. 10,888 of the 25,564 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 14,676 were PCR tests.

The country has had 335,769 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 

4.26 per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.

316,389 of the 335,769 patients have recovered, while 4,569 have died from the virus.

Currently 14,785 individuals remain infected with Covid-19.

• Tbilisi - 543 cases 
• Adjara - 125 cases 
• Imereti - 99 cases
• Kvemo Kartli - 62 cases 
• Shida Kartli - 25 cases 
• Guria - 7 cases 
• Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 104 cases 
• Kakheti - 47 cases
• Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 17 cases
• Samtskhe-Javakheti - 18 cases
• Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 17 cases

4,261 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 893 of the 4,261 patients are in critical condition. 219 of the 893 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.

25,885 individuals are in self-isolation.

More than 4,700,000 tests have been conducted in the country so far.
