A Ukrainian citizen has been detained in Georgia for transportation of large amount of excisable tobacco products without excise marks, announces the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia.
This individual imported to Georgia large amount of non-excised HEETS tobacco products for IQOS through the customs checkpoint Sadakhlo, using a specially arranged hideout in the trunk of the vehicle he was driving", says the Investigation Service.
The crime is punishable by six to eight years in prison.
