Fire in Tbilisi's Samgori district extinguished

A fire that broke out at a warehouse building on Bogdan-Khmelnitski Street, Samgori district in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi earlier today has been extinguished.

Georgia’s Emergency Management Service has reported that 13 fire-fighting brigades were involved in extinguishing the fire.Photo: 1TV.ge

Head of Tbilisi Main Division of the Emergency Management Service Otar Kereselidze said that an area of around 1,500 square meters has been burnt.

However, he said over 2,500 square meters have been preserved.

No one was injured in the fire.
