Coronavirus cases reach 73 in Georgia – 10 recovered, no deaths

The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus has reached 73 in Georgia, with 10 people having recovered since the beginning of the outbreak.

 Two of the 73 are Austrian citizens who have already returned home via a chartered flight. 

 As of now there are 61 people inside the country infected with the virus. 

 The new cases are connected with the Marneuli region of Georgia and the US.

There are 423,368 confirmed cases of COVID-19 worldwide. 18,906 have died of the virus, while 109,146 have recovered.

 Georgia’s western neighbor Turkey has had 1,872 confirmed cases (44 dead, 183 recovered), while Azerbaijan has had 87 confirmed cases (one dead, 10 recovered).

Armenia has had 265 confirmed cases (no deaths, 16 recovered), and Russia has 495 confirmed cases (one dead, 22 recovered).
