Eighty-one people have been injured as a result of fireworks accidents on December 31-January 1 in Georgia, says the Ministry of Health.
The ministry says that 48 people were injured in Tbilisi and the rest were injured in the regions of Georgia.
Thirty-five people have been taken to hospitals in Tbilisi, while the number of hospitalised people was 16 in the regions of Georgia.
Georgia’s Emergency Service 112 has received 124 emergency calls in total related to incidents involving fireworks.
