Geostat, UNICEF create online platform to help children better understand statistical data on Georgia, population

The National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat) has created a new portal, juniors.geostat.ge with the financial and technical support of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). The main purpose of the new platform is to create statistical data for children in an easily understandable way.

The new portal consists of two main parts, of which the first one includes statistics for children aged 8-12. It includes surveys and polls from demographics, education, agriculture and other interesting fields for children.

Children can also read many interesting facts about the regions of Georgia.

With the help  of infographics, animations and interactive diagrams, children will easily understand different information about the environment, agriculture, and children's rights.

Another part of the portal is statistics for adults aged 13-19.
