Police have detained one individual who rented a car and then sold off its parts for profit.
The detainee, T.B., has been convicted in the past for similar crimes.
T.B. rented the car by verbal agreement on October 25, then disassembled the vehicle and sold off its parts. Law enforcers found the dismantled car on Kvareli Street in Tbilisi.
An investigation is underway.
T.B. has been charged with multiple times of fraud.
The crime is punishable from six to nine years in prison.
