Georgian police have confiscated 6.5 kilograms of heroin from an individual living in the Georgian village of Vakiri in Signagi municipality, eastern Georgia.

The detainee is a 35-year-old man. 

The crime is punishable by 8-20 years in prison or life imprisonment.
