One person has been detained for assaulting a journalist of Publika media outlet during the parliamentary elections on October 31.
The person broke the phone of Publika journalist Mindia Gabadze while filming his aggressive behaviour outside the polling station No. 79 in Gldani constituency in Tbilisi.
The Georgian Interior Ministry announced on November 1 that police launched investigation into 12 criminal cases and 16 administrative proceedings throughout Georgia.

Deputy Interior Minister Kakhaber Sabanadze then said that the ministry 'actively cooperates' with international observing missions, local non-governmental organisations and the Public Defender's Office.
