The Georgian air market is expanding with a new local airline company – Air Georgia which plans to start operations on the Georgian aviation market in 2021.
The airline company will bring two Airbus A320 aircrafts to Tbilisi International Airport tomorrow which are designed to carry 180 passengers.
Air Georgia plans to carry out flights to Europe and Central Asia.
The airline company has already applied to the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency for a flight permit.
So far, there have been only two local airline companies in Georgia – Georgian Airways, which was established in September 1993 and Myway Airlines, which started operations in 2018.
Wizz Air Abu Dhabi to link Kutaisi to UAE capital starting October 1
