The election banner of a majoritarian candidate for the October 31 parliamentary elections, Aleko Elisashvili includes his phone number to allow voters to contact him directly.
Elisashvili, who is running in the Saburtalo district of central Tbilisi, says that the way of communication ‘is true, not fake, to address the real problems people are suffering from.’
I urge voters to phone me any time and I will spare no efforts and will do my best to settle their problems,” Elisashvili said.
Elisashvili, who previously was a member of Tbilisi City Assembly and came second in the Tbilisi mayoral race back in 2017, founded political party Citizens earlier this year.
The ruling Georgian Dream party nominated former health minister David Segeenko for the Saburtalo district in the elections, while ex-defence minister Irakli Okruashvili is running in the district on behalf of the united opposition.
