Court denies bail to 11 detained in case of death of football athlete Shakarashvili

A Mtskheta court has denied bail to 11 individuals detained in the case of the death of 19-year-old football athlete Giorgi Shakarashvili.

The detainees do not plead guilty to charges of organising violence and the unlawful deprivation of liberty.

Six other minors have been detained on the same charges, whose case is being heard separately.

The case of Giorgi Shakarashvili's premeditated murder is being considered in a separate proceeding, in which five people stand accused.
