Akhra Avidzba, 34, who fought against Ukrainian forces in the country’s currently Russian occupied region of Donetsk back in 2014, has been appointed ‘foreign relations aide’ to de facto President of Abkhazia Aslan Bzhania.

Avidzba headed a group of local protesters who broke into the ‘residence’ of former de facto leader of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba in January 2020.
He was accusing Khajimba of cooperation with ' Georgian criminals and thieves.'
Shortly after the incident Khajimba ‘resigned,’ and Bzhania was later elected as the facto president of the region.
