Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia is taking part in the World Economic Forum which will be held in Davos, Switzerland on January 21-24.
Gakharia will meet with officials of international finance institutions and heads of the world’s largest companies, including Philips Lighting, Siemens Energy, Camille Bloch, Coca-Cola and Oneweb.
During his visit to Switzerland, Gakharia will participate in a panel discussion titled New Ambitions for Europe.
Gakharia will take part in the official event, Uniting Europe, held for European leaders.
Prime Minister Gakharia will attend the presentation “Cool Kids on Blockchain”, where Georgian start-up Vault Wines will be presented as the winner of a venture capital contest held by the Swiss Venture Capital Fund.
Finance Minister Ivane Matchavariani, the prime minister’s advisor for strategic communications Irakli Chikovani and the prime minister’s advisor for economics Beka Liluashvili are also participating in the forum.
