London-based Wanderlust travel magazine has prepared a quiz, which makes it simpler for travellers to spot the difference between the US state of Georgia and the country of Georgia in the Caucasus.
Sometimes, telling them apart is as easy as (peach) pie. Other times? When you dig a bit deeper, it’s ot always as straightforward as you’d think", it says.
Wanderlust notes that 'a culture-rich country in Europe, teetering on the border with Asia' and one of the US's 50 states, 'may not seem to have much in common beyond sharing a name'.
Meanwhile, the Georgian embassy to UK has also tweeted that the country is getting ready to reopen its doors to international travellers on July 1, after months of lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Georgia will be one of the first countries in the world to welcome international travellers with a new image - 'Georgia - Safe Destination!'.
Georgia has five new cases of COVID-19 and 14 recoveries including two in the Black Sea region of Adjara, turning the region into a coronavirus-free zone again.
