Police have fined 182 people for violating state of emergency regulations and curfew during the last 24 hours in Georgia.
- 78 individuals were fined for violating the curfew regulations
- 38 individuals were fined for violating rules of transportation and driving
- 66 individuals were fined for public gathering and violating 2-meter distance

Individuals who violate the state of emergency regulations face a fine of 3,000 GEL, while legal entities have to pay a fine of 15,000 GEL; repeat offence is punishable by three years in prison.

As of now, Georgia has confirmed a total of 408 cases of COVID-19, including 97 recoveries and four deaths.
Meanwhile, the Georgian government has appealed to President Salome Zurabishvili to extend the state of emergency until May 22.
