What should US administration do to oppose Russia? Senator requests advice

US Senator Adam Kinzinger has requested advice from Executive Vice President of the Atlantic Council Damon Wilson for the US administrative on how they can oppose Russian aggression worldwide.
The question was raised at the US Congress Foreign Relations Committee meeting late yesterday, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of NATO, Georgian Foreign Ministry reports.
Russia occupied the territories of Georgia and Ukraine and now is interfering in the issues of Venezuela. How can the US State Administration oppose Russian activities?” Kinzinger asked.
Wilson, who represents an influential American think tank for foreign affairs, responded that “Russia is trying to attack us and does so quite effectively.”
When the goal is to destroy and not to build, it is easier to achieve one’s goals,” Wilson said.
Wilson stated that NATO should try harder to defend its allies and carry out activities which make Russia retreat.
Foreign Minister Davit Zalkaliani will travel to the United States on April 3-4. In Washington DC Minister Zalkaliani will join the events on the sidelines of the NATO Foreign Ministerial dedicated to the seventieth anniversary of the Alliance.
