Grammy Award-winning American singer and songwriter Lenny Kravitz will delight Georgian listeners next spring when he touches down in capital Tbilisi for a leg of his Here to Love world tour.
Kravitz, winner of a myriad musical awards since the mid-1990s, will launch the European part of his tour at the city's Mikheil Meskhi Stadium on May 31, with organisers promising an "unforgettable atmosphere" for the show.
It will mark the first appearance of the multi-instrumental perform in the country where his music has been widely appreciated over the decades. The four-time Grammy-winning musician will arrive in Tbilisi after performances in New Zealand and Australia in March and April.
Recognised for his hit singles in a range of genres including rock and funk rock, Kravitz has sold 40 million copies of his albums globally and has been distinguished with prizes like the MTV Video Music Awards and Brit Awards.
He has been dubbed a "mega-wattage psychedelic-funk-rock recording star" by Variety magazine and is currently based in Paris.
Organisers of the Tbilisi leg of his tour said he would go on the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium stage with singles from his latest album Raise Vibration and songs from over two decades of his career so far.
