Young Georgian photographer Davit Giorgadze has been named in the British Fashion Council's list of top 100 "most innovative and inspiring" talents around the world for his work.
The organisation - which runs the annual London Fashion Week and promotes British fashion internationally - this month named it's New Wave: Creatives list for the current year, including artists, designers and more.
The list "pays homage to the incredible success of both home-grown and international talent", the council said in its introduction of the selection invovling talent from more than 20 countries across the world.
Giorgadze, 22, is among "image makers" of the list, with the Berlin-based photographer known for his work around capturing personalities on lens through a focus on the portrait genre.
The artist reacted to the unveiling of the top 100 list by thanking the council, "inspiring artists" and his collaborators on various projects for the success.
Those featured in the list will be under the spotlight of the BFC Fashion Awards in December, hosted at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Giorgadze has worked for major labels including Givenchy, Louis Vuitton and Raf Simons, with his recent work featured by the Antidote magazine.
His work has also involved shooting for CR Men magazine issue from last month, with clothes from Balenciaga and Yves Saint Laurent featured.
The BFC involves appointed members from the fashion industry to contribute to support to and promotion of British designer industry.
Established in 1983, the body also organises London Fashion Week Men's, annual Fashion Awards and the publicly open London Fashion Week Festival.
