The daily grape processing picks up in Kakheti

A special grape harvest coordination centre is located in Telavi, Georgia’s eastern province of Kakheti.

Over 6,000 tonnes of grapes have been processed in Kakheti region as of September 13.

About 30,000 tonnes of grapes have been processed  in Kakheti region from the beginning of the grape harvest season till 13th of September. 

  Of the different varieties, about 15,4 thousand tonnes of Rkatsiteli, 9,000 tonnes of Saperavi and 2,5 thousand tonnes of grapes have been processed, the Ministry of Agriculture reports. 

As the Ministry of Agriculture states, 220 wine producing companies have been  already registered at a special grape harvest coordination centre, Located in Telavi, Georgia’s eastern province of Kakheti.
