Streets and monuments in Georgia’s capital of Tbilisi will be illuminated with energy efficient lighting by Signify, the new company name of Philips Lighting.
Chief Executive Officer of Signify Eric Rondolat noted during his meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze that energy efficient lighting will be introduced primarily in Tbilisi but also in other cities of the country.
The meeting was held at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
Bakhtadze and Rondolat talked about the Green Economy concept, designed by the government of Georgia, which involves the development of organic production as well as the use of Philips technologies in the process of production.
