New rope adventure park opens in Georgia’s Algeti National Park

A new rope adventure park has opened today in Algeti National Park, in Tetritskaro Municipality, Georgia.

The park opened as part of the EU-supported project ‘Sustainable Rural Development in Tetritskaro Municipality’ with the sponsorship of Rural Development for Future Georgia (RDFG).

A new visitors’ center, constructed with the support of the Georgian government and German state-owned development bank KFW also opened with the adventure park. 

The project aims to attract more tourists to the national park of Georgia.

Algeti National Park, located at an altitude of 1,100-1,950 meters, is among the protected areas of Georgia and includes Dashbashi, Birtvisi and Samshvilde canyons.

It has a picnic area with auxiliary buildings and a tourist trail called Samepo Ridge.
