Social enterprise for female victims of violence opens in Tbilisi

Social enterprise Anastasia has opened on Kerchi Street, Tbilisi, which will provide female victims of violence with cooking courses.

Spanish Chef Manuel will conduct the classes. After the course is over, the beneficiaries will receive certificates and be able to be employed in restaurants.

Unemployed beneficiaries will be able to continue working at the social enterprise and receive private orders.

The opening of the social enterprise aims to educate victims of violence and encourage their financial independence.

The enterprise was financed by the President’s Fund, the Women’s Fund in Georgia, several NGOs and private organizations and the governments of Poland and Estonia.
