Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili writes that the terror attacks on churches and hotels in Sri Lanka on Sunday, killing 290 people, are “unspeakable.”
The Georgian president wrote on her official Twitter page:
The terrorist attacks in #SriLanka ???????? are an unspeakable tragedy rocking the Christian, Sri Lankan, and international communities. On this #EasterSunday, Georgia mourns for the victims and stands with Sri Lanka.

The Georgian Foreign Ministry has also condemned the deadly attack, saying that it is a “grave crime against humanity.”
Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani wrote.
Deeply saddened by the tragic events in #SriLanka. We most strongly condemn all forms of violence! Our simpathy goes to the people of Sri Lanka and condolences to the victims and their relatives.

Officials in Sri Lanka have accused the local Islamist group of the terrorist attacks and stated that international terrorists helped them in the massacre.
500 people have received injuries.
Police have detained 24 individuals so far.
