New CEO appointed for Georgian Co-Investment fund

The Georgian Co-Investment fund has a new chief executive officer: Tsotne Ebralidze who is replacing George Bachiashvili in the post. 

Ebralidze previously worked as the CEO of the Georgian Tourism Development Fund and as a Managing Director for hospitality and real estate sectors in GCF.

Bachiashvili, who has held the position of the Chief Executive Officer since the establishment of the Georgian Co-Investment Fund, will take the position of Chairperson in the Advisory Board and will be responsible for the fund’s activities in accordance with the mandate and other supervisory issues.

I am glad that with our excellent team, we had the opportunity to establish and operate one of the most important and successful financial institutions in Georgia, to attract FDI and implement big projects together… As chair of the Advisory Board, I will be a guarantee that the Fund will continue to work in accordance with its mandate”, said Bachiashvili.

He said that each project implemented by the Georgian Co-Investment fund will have a positive impact on Georgia. As of today, the fund is implementing projects worth $2.2 billion, said Bachiashvili.

Established in 2013 the Georgian Co-Investment Fund is a private investment fund, with the mandate to provide investors with unique access through a private equity structure to opportunities in the region’s fastest growing industries and sectors.
