Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili has met with Werner Liepach, the new Director General of the Asian Development Bank’s Central and West Asia Department of the Asian Development today.
At the meeting the officials talked about the positive dynamics of Georgia’s economic growth as the result of a well-guided and consistent policy of the government of Georgia, the successes achieved in the implementation of the four-point reform plan and the strong support of the ADB for Georgia, announced the PM’s press office.
Kvirikashvili wished success to Liepach in his future activities and also thanked the ADB for its support in implementing infrastructure projects in Georgia and supporting the country’s pension and capital market reforms.
On the other hand, Liepach reaffirmed ADB’s support to Georgia and promised the bank will continue helping the country in its economic development.
The ADB is one of the largest partners of Georgia which has implemented $2.4 billion worth of projects in Georgia’s private as well as public sectors.
