In order to offload road traffic in Georgia’s capital of Tbilisi, a new overpass at the crossroads of Tsintsadze-Kartozia streets in Saburtalo district of the city will be built, announces Tbilisi City Hall.
The implementation of the 2,700,000 GEL (about $1,106,557/€895,033*) project will take five months.
Furthermore, 140 trees will be planted in the area as well to retain the proportion of greenery to cement.
Traffic-jams are one of the problems that Tbilisi faces and such infrastructural projects are very important to solve them”, said Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze who visited the construction site yesterday.
A two-lane overpass will be constructed at the crossroads of Tsintsadze-Kartozia streets, which will ensure safe and traffic-free movement.
