An agreement on sending inmates gifts on religious holidays was signed in 2016.

Georgia commemorated one of the most significant days in the religious calendar, Good Friday, yesterday.

On this day Georgian believers dye eggs red and bake paska to celebrate Easter after Lent.

The period of Lent, or the great fast, began on February 19 and will end on April 8, the first day of the Easter holidays.
