Denmark’s top diplomat will also meet his Georgian counterpart Mikheil Janelidze on Friday, after which a presentation will be held on Danish Neighborhood Programme – a scheme to promote human rights, democracy and economic development in the European Union’s eastern neighbours.
To implement the programme, Georgia and Ukraine have been selected as "priority countries” to receive financial support from the Danish government for the next four years.
Samulsen will also visit the occupation line between Georgia and its Russian-occupied region of Tskhinvali (South Ossetia).
