Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili has stated that Russian propaganda has achieved no success in Georgia so far.

Delivering the speech at a strategic discussion on national security issue in Gori in eastern Georgia, Margvelashvili stated that all Georgian governments have tried to achieve European integration.

Since the very first days of the restoration of independence of Georgia the country has had governments who served Georgia’s key interests. The governments have supported Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration,” Margvelashvili stated.

The president emphasized that it was to the merit of the Georgian people and the media that Russian propaganda has failed to take root in the country.
