30-member commission to organise inauguration ceremony of new Georgian president

A 30-person commission will be tasked with organising the inauguration ceremony of president-elect Salome Zurabishvili, a decree signed by Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze reads. 

The ceremony will take place in Telavi, in eastern Georgia, on 16 December.

The commission will be chaired by the head of the administration of the government of Georgia Kakha Kakhishvili.

The commission members include officials of the government administration, Foreign Ministry, Interior Ministry, Defence Ministry, Finance Ministry, Education Ministry, Georgian Armed Forces, Ministry of Infrastructure, State Security Service, Tbilisi and Telavi City Halls and the Georgian parliament.

Zurabishvili will be represented in the commission by the future head of her administration Lasha Zhvania.
