Funding of the Presidential Administration of Georgia will be 9,800,000 GEL (about $3.64m/€3.20m) as is determined by the 2019 State Budget of Georgia.
About 140 people are employed at the Presidential Administration whose salaries total 4,692,000 GEL (about $1.74m/€1.53m).
The President’s Reserve Fund will be 5 million GEL (about $1.86m/€1.63m).
Funding of the Presidential Administration of Georgia was the same in 2018 and 13,194,600 GEL (about $4.91m/€4.31m) in 2017.
The inauguration of Georgia’s new president will be held on December 16. As determined by the constitution, the oath of office of a president-elect takes place on the third Sunday after the presidential elections.
As newly elected President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili announced this summer she is going to move to the Atoneli Palace from the current presidential residence from Avlabari district.
The Georgian Central Election Commission has released the final results of the presidential elections. The commission has stated that 100 per cent of votes have been counted. Zurabishvili received 1,147,627 votes, while Vashadze-780,633.
