Georgian film has been showcased at two festivals in two US cities in November.
The Georgian Contemporary Film Festival, annually held in Washington D.C., presented internationally acclaimed Georgian films from 13-16 November.
This year, the festival included a selection of six impressive productions and discussions with film directors. The event is presented by Embassy of Georgia to the United States in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia.

The second festival showing Georgian cinematography in the US was the Polish Film Festival in America. It is an annual showcase of Polish cinema in Chicago, traditionally showing the best films from Poland and a guest country from Eastern and Central Europe.
This year, the festival celebrated the cinema of the Republic of Georgia. Nine carefully selected movies were presented in person by members of the Georgian film industry from 9-12 November.
