8 injured in road accident in Tbilisi

Eight people have been injured as a result of a road accident today in the outskirts of Tbilisi Lilo. Six have been hospitalised.

Four vehicles collided and resulted in one of them, a minibus, overturning.

The accident happened approximately at 3 p.m. today.

Fortunately, the passengers received only mild injuries and there were no casualties, the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated today.

An investigation into violating traffic safety laws has been launched.
