A Georgian teenager holds the new world record for solving the most Rubik’s cube puzzles underwater, in a single breath, after Vako Marchilashvili showcased his quick thinking and ability in an official event in Tbilisi earlier today.
The 18-year old managed to assemble six cubes while immersed in a small cubic bowl of water at the capital city’s Gino Paradise Water Park.
The bowl and the young record-breaker was surrounded by interested audience and media, eager to see if the attempt would succeed.

Successfully breaking the previous achievement of Anthony Brooks of the United States — who had managed to assemble five puzzles — Marchilashvili will now be officially registered in the Guinness World Records for the feat.
His effort was noted by officials from Georgian Records Federation, present at the location to make sure the attempt would conform to rules of world records.
Marchilashvili is a two-time Georgian Champion for solving Rubik’s cube puzzles.
