For those looking to learn from the experiences of others, a cosy and creative spot in downtown Tbilisi will host this Friday Fuckup Nights, an evening of select speakers telling the public stories of their professional mistakes.

Part of a global series held in over 250 cities, Fuckup Nights Tbilisi talks will see four speakers from different professions revealing their blunders and how they emerged from those.

We would like to present professional failure from a different angle and show to everyone that failure is part of knowledge and a valuable experience worthy of an open talk”, organisers noted in preview of the event.

Organisers have said the Fuckup Nights programme would look to host professionals including entrepreneurs, managers and students looking to "learn from others’ failures” in a pleasant environment for socialising.

The four speakers for the Friday talks will be Eka Kipiani, creative director for Metro advertising agency, Giorgi Popiashvili, associate professor at the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs, Irakli Arjevanidze of IBC Corporate Solutions Georgia and financial technology professional Zviad Aitsuradze.

Launched in 2012, the global series now hosts its monthly events in 80 countries and cities ranging from Frankfurt to Toronto.

Over 100,000 audience members took part in Fuckup Nights events held in 26 languages in 2016.
