Georgia’s Agency of Protected Areas becomes member of Europark Federation

Georgia’s Agency of Protected Areas has become a member of the Europark Federation, announces the agency.

From now on Georgian protected areas will be presented next to Europe’s best protected areas and this fact will play an important role in promoting protected areas of Georgia throughout Europe and the world”, said Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture Levan Davitashvili.

"Nature lovers will learn more about Georgia’s biodiversity. We have the opportunity to share in the best experience and knowledge and to actively cooperate with other members of the federation”, he added.

The Europark Federation is the network for Europe’s natural and cultural heritage. The Federation has 36 member countries and hundreds of protected areas.
