Georgia’s model of introducing internet technologies can be used in different regions of the world, says Vice President of Internet Society Raul Echeverria at today’s European Dialogue on Internet Governance forum in Tbilisi.

The Internet Society, government, population and different private companies are cooperating in order to provide access to internet for those who have never had it. We have an excellent example of this cooperation which is implemented in Tusheti [a region of Georgia]”, said Echeverria.
This is an example of how the latest technologies can be implemented in a place where technologies have never existed thanks to the cooperation between different sectors of the society. Using this model can be possible in different regions of the world”, he added.

Echeverria stated that today access to the internet remains a challenge for the world, including Georgia.

"We are trying to overcome this enormous challenge”, he said.
