Occupants detain Georgian citizen with heart disease near breakaway Tskhinvali

The Russia-controlled so-called border guards have detained Georgian citizen David Chalauri near the occupation line with Georgia’s breakaway Tskhinvali (South Ossetia) region today.
Locals say that Chalauri, 29, allegedly could not find a way and accidently appeared on the territory which is under Russia’s control.
They say that the young man, who suffers from a serious heart disease- Atelocardia, has been detained for "illegal crossing of border”.
The detainee is from the Tirdznisi village, Gori municipality.
The occupants frequently illegally detain Georgian citizens for the crossing of so-called border and in most cases release them after paying a fine.
The fine is about $30.
A Georgian citizen has been detained near the occupation line between Georgia and its Russian occupied region of Tskhinvali (South Ossetia) for allegedly crossing the so-called border. Genadi Bestaev, 50, who lives in Zardiantkari village of Gori region near Tskhinvali now faces two months in prison.

Two people kidnapped near the occupation line between Georgia and its Russian-occupied region of Tskhinvali (South Ossetia) have been released today. As one of the detainees Eldar Gundishvili said, he was detained while he was grazing his cattle in his own yard.
The detainee is from Kutaisi and occupants have arrested him for so-called illegally crossing the so called border at the river Enguri. The information was released by the de-facto interior ministry of Abkhazia and later confirmed by the State Security Service of Georgia.
The EU monitoring mission has been informed about the incident and the hot line is enacted, the State Security Service said today.
Priest and shepherd detained in Tskhinvali region (South Ossetia)
Ioane Okhanashvili is the pastor of Saint Georgia’s Church in the village Dirbi, located a few kilometres away from the South Ossetian ABL.
The news about the other detention came from the village of Tsitelubani. The shepherd Teimuraz Dudashvili was taken by force to Tskhinvali by Russian border guards, according to his neighbours.
