Georgia’s capital of Tbilisi will welcome dozens of comfort stations in different parts of the city.
In the nearest future Tbilisi City Hall Property Management Agency will announce the auction for arranging the comfort stations at 30 locations in Tbilisi where the land plots will be alienated for 20 years.
These will be a pay-and-use public facilities where people will be able to pay cash or use a special cards such as a Metromoney card easier to pay the transport fee. The Metromoney card is a universal means for payment in municipal transport (metro, bus) and for the Rike-Narikala cablecar.
The conditions of the auction will include the comfort stations to be adapted for people with disabilities in terms of technical point of view and also in terms of space. Furthermore, the special information boards should be written in Braille to easy the services for people with vision impairments.
The comfort stations should be a simple, modern building, constructed with metal carcasses without the foundation. The space of the comfort station should not exceed over 8 m2.
Each comfort station should have a baby-changing special table that should be made with the antibacterial materials.
A winner company should also be responsible for sanitary-hygienic conditions at the comfort stations.
