  • Effective financial management, time management and human resources management;
  • Implementing a student-centered learning environment;
  • Developing learning communities;
  • Implementing innovative and interactive methods in schools;
  • Introducing a monitoring and evaluation system focused on a long-term development.

Magda Magradze CEO of the Millennium Challenge Account – Georgia said the Leadership Academy will contribute to improving the quality of teaching and learning at Georgian public schools.

Moris Dandurishvili director of Khashuri #1 public school in Georgia’s eastern region of Shida Kartli said the training has helped him figure out what specific changes he had to adjust to the school to improve its management. He said being the part of the Leadership Academy he realized that he had to change "the existent authoritarian leadership style by organizational learning system model”.

As a consequence, we have an improved environment in school that is easily noticeable for everyone, where collaboration, teamwork and reciprocal teaching is our daily routine”, he said.
