New convention centre with 360° view to be built in Gudauri

Georgia is building a convention centre with a 360° view at its popular winter resort of Gudauri to boost tourism development in the area.
The convention centre will be built at one of the highest points of the Gudauri cableway, said the Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili at yesterday’s government meeting.
Georgia’s Ministry of Economy will be responsible for choosing the proper place for building the new convention centre in Gudauri.
There is [currently] one option where the convention centre could be built. It is the very place where the cable cars are all gathered. The PM asked us to discuss other options as well, to consider the centre at a higher place. We should take into account the new convention centre while designing the Gudauri development plan”, said Georgian Minister of Economy Giorgi Gakharia.
The convention centre project will be based on European examples successfully operating all year round, announced the Government of Georgia.
