Chairperson of the Georgian Delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA) Sofio Katsarava met with OSCE PA President Christine Muttonen in Vienna, Austria today.
The Georgian delegation is participating in a two-day OSCE PA winter session from February 23-24.
Welcoming Georgia’s progress with the lifting of visa-requirements, Muttonen said the OSCE PA remains committed to Georgia’s territorial integrity and to a peaceful solution of its conflicts.
Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic choice is a historic decision. The country is continuing the implementation of democratic reforms to become closer to European standards and follow its values”, Katsarava said.
Meeting with the President of the Austrian Parliament Karlheinz Kopf yesterday, the parties discussed bilateral relations and inter-Parliamentary cooperation.
Kopf believes due to its strategic location, Georgia has good opportunities for business development.
