445 internally displaced families will celebrate New Year at new homes

445 internally displaced families from Russian occupied regions of Georgia – Abkhazia and Tskhinvali (South Ossetia) received brand new apartments in central Georgian town of Gori to ring in the New Year 2018.

These are:

  • 160 one room apartments;
  • 240 double room apartments;
  • 45 three room apartments.

Considering the needs of the people with disabilities, they were given apartments on the ground floor.

Georgian Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees gave apartments to the IDPs selected through the application process this year.
