Over one million Georgians aged 15 and older took trips within their home country in the third quarter (Q3) of 2017.
These travellers spent 167 million GEL (about $ 65.24m/€ 55.18m*) in total while travelling in Georgia.
People aged 31-50 were the most avid domestic travellers (361,900 people), while the least people willing to travel were the elderly (59,100 people).
In terms of gender, more women (543,300) travelled around Georgia than men (429,100) in Q3 2017.
