The main New Year fir tree will be festively brightened in capital Tbilisi at 8pm on December 15, in front of the former Parliament building on Rustaveli Avenue, Tbilisi Mayor’s Office has announced.
Most large-scale, open-air concerts for New Year holiday will be held on three locations: Old Tbilisi and in the suburban areas of Gldani and Varketili.
The concerts will start at 12am on December 31 and up to 90 figures from the cultural field will participate in them.

A New Year town will be constructed in the Deda Ena Garden (garden of the mother-tongue) on the right bank of the river Mtkvari. The town will be open from December 24 to January 7.
Skating rinks will be arranged both in the garden and at the main fir tree and they will be free of charge.

The Tbilisi government says that the tickets for roller coasters and other similar entertainments for New Year holiday will be sold at affordable prices.
