Germany's capital of Berlin has hosted an exhibition "Georgia Special” that promoted Georgian traditional cuisine, wine, and products in Germany.
"Georgia Special” was opened on October 19 and closed today.
The exhibition opened with a tasting of Georgian dishes.
Visitors of the exhibition were able to get acquainted with the traditional Georgian winemaking method in the ancient qvevri winemaking vessel.
The exhibition showcased products from Georgian restaurants and also Georgian exporter companies in Berlin.
"Georgia Special” took place on the territory of a historical market of Berlin.
The event was organised by Georgia’s Ministry of Economy, "Enterprise in Georgia,” the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Association "Georgian Wine,” USAID / Reap, and the National Tourism Administration.
