Traditional souvenirs, clothes, bakery, dried fruit, wine, tea and other Georgian-made products have been exhibited at the old part of Tbilisi today, which is hosting a weekend aimed at promoting Georgian entrepreneurs and their local production.

The fair has been organised within Enterprise Georgia of the Ministry of Economy.
The state is assisting new, emerging businesses in different ways, through Produce in Georgia, Start-up Georgia and other projects that have already helped create a variety of local production, which now needs to reach the customers”, Minister of Economy Giorgi Gakharia said.
Visiting the fair at Meidan today, Gakharia said such events encourage local entrepreneurs to produce local production as well as attract tourists and boost tourism development in Georgia.

The guests of the fair can not only taste Georgian food and wine but also personally meet with the local entrepreneurs and learn more about their enterprises.
