Georgian freestyle wrestler Zurab Iakobashvili has won the gold medal at the Wrestling World Championship that took place in the French capital of Paris.

Iakobishvili has won the 65kg champion’s belt with a 3-1 victory over the Polish Magomedmurad Gadzhiev.
This is another gold medal for Georgia at the championship as Geno Petriashvili won the 125kg champion’s belt with a hard-fought 10-8 victory over the Turkish Taha Akgul the day before.
