A group of military experts from Lithuania have arrived in Tbilisi to share their experience of military training and evaluation with their Georgian counterparts.

The group arrived in Georgia’s capital city this morning by military jet and will remain in the country for one week. The guests will spend most of their time at the Krtsanisi National Training Centre near capital Tbilisi.

Primarily, the Lithuanian experts are tasked with sharing their experience with Georgia about how the country should carry out military trainings and evaluate military studies.

The foreign experts visit was highly anticipated and appreciated by Georgia as it took place ahead of next months’ planned trainings at the NATO-Georgia Joint Training and Evaluation Centre, which opened in August last year at the Krtsanisi base.
